And doesn't she deserve it!? Tina Fey was named Entertainer of the Year by the Associated Press. Tina kept us laughing with her hit NBC show that I always love 30 Rock which won multiple Emmy's. Also, she brought so many laughs during this intense election season with her wonderfully accurate and entertaining impression of Sarah Palin.
Fey beat out Robert Downey Jr. who came in second and the late Heath Ledger who came in third.
''She simultaneously entertained us with her wit and put a mirror up to the nation during the election and made us think about what was going on,'' says Scott Shive, assistant features editor at the Lexington Herald-Leader. ''She is the epitome of the smart kid coming out on top for once.''
